City of Wilmington is located just 25 miles from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and enjoys the convenience of the SEPTA public transportation. Wilmington, Delaware is the largest city in the state and is currently going through a revitalization campaign. Wilmington is most renowned for attractive pro-business finance laws that have made it a national financial capital for credit card companies and banks.
North Wilmington, Delaware is located northeast of the City of Wilmington and borders the Delaware/Pennsylvania line. North Wilmington is located off of I-95 and is best known for its convenience. North Wilmington is also referred to as Brandywine Hundred, Talleyville, Delaware and Claymont, Delaware.
Greenville, Delaware and Centreville, Delaware are located north of the City of Wilmington and are home to many professionals who desire a short and easy commute, but enjoy the serenity of the country. Greenville and Centreville are located off of Route 52 and neighbors North Wilmington and Hockessin, Delaware.
Hockessin, Delaware is located northwest of the City of Wilmington. One of the major attractions for citizens of Hockessin, Delaware is the rolling hills and picturesque landscape. The homes are normally nestled on larger lots and tend to be newer then the mature North Wilmington. Hockessin neighbors Avondale, Pennsylvania and Newark, Delaware.
Newark, Delaware is located just 12 miles southwest of the City of Wilmington. Newark borders the Pennsylvania/Maryland line and is best known for hosting the University of Delaware. Residents of Newark enjoy the vibrant town life, large amount of surrounding parkland and the convenient location.
New Castle, Delaware is located just 5 miles south of the City of Wilmington. New Castle is home to Delaware's most historic sites. It is a historic town that still inhabits everyday Americans.
