 Billie Chubb, Owner & Sales Associate Billie has excelled at numerous sales businesses and jobs. Even during high school Billie, with future husband Steve, developed Billie 'n Steve's Produce Market that also distributed seasonal flowers and Christmas trees. She was a sales coordinator for ICI Plastics Division and a manufacturer's representative for numerous wholesale nurseries including the Conard-Pyle Co. known for their prestigious Star Roses. Billie began her successful real estate career in 1989 and joined RE/MAX in 1995. Billie graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and went on to graduate in business administration at the University of Delaware. She is the top 1/2 percent of all real estate agents in the country and has received the RE/MAX Hall of Fame award. She enjoys spending time with her family and two Labrador Retrievers, gardening, sewing and swimming. She is actively involved in the American Heart Association, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, The Tatnall School and is the founder of the Steven H. Chubb Memorial Foundation, which provides scholarships to students for higher education.

 Linda Stapleford, Sales Associate Joining in 2009, Linda brings nearly fifteen years of experience to the team. Born and raised in Delaware, her knowledge of the state and, in particular, the real estate market is extensive. Combined with her knowledge, her eagerness to help and positive attitude have proven invaluable to Buyers and Sellers throughout her career. Linda and her husband have two children attending the Brandywine School District. Recreational time includes family, friends and reading.

 Penny Zebrook, Sales Associate Penny joined the Chubb Realty Group with over seven years of real estate in early 2006. She has assisted several hundred sellers and buyers from all over the United States in both the Delaware and Pennsylvania marketplace. She has been awarded several honors since joining RE/MAX, including membership in the "100% Club." A smooth, stress-free and enjoyable real estate transaction is Penny's primary goal for her clients. Penny is a double degree graduate from the University of Delaware with a BS in Marketing and Textiles. She has lived in the Wilmington area for over 40 years and considers her broad knowledge of the tri-state area a major benefit when helping both local & out-of-town buyers and sellers.  Jackie Nagle, Sales Assistant Jackie joined the Chubb Realty Group in 2003 in an Administrative capacity. She assists with document preparation in regard to the real estate sales procedure and the follow up necessary for our ongoing client relationship. Her experience includes the primary mortgage lending settlement aspect and sales in the secondary market. Jackie enjoys creative projects in decorating, painting, gardening and is attempting to learn to sew.
Jeffrey Chubb – Mass Marketing & New System Development Coordinator Jeffrey graduated from Babson College, the #1 Entrepreneurial School in the country with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Jeffrey manages company marketing, new system development, Broker Price Opinions and the Foreclosure division of the Chubb Realty Group. Prior experience includes working on Wall Street trading Mortgage Backed Securities for Rabobank International.

Accepting An Offer >Evaluating Multiple Bids
Competition for homes is high in hot markets. When you are a seller faced with multiple offers on your home, how do you choose the best one? Your real estate agent can help you compare and contrast the terms of each proposal.
Look at the price of each offer and evaluate your net profit. Next, consider the terms of each contract. How "clean" is each offer? Are there contingencies that affect the sale, such as the buyers needing to sell another property before they can finalize the purchase of your home? Can you work out a mutually agreeable date for you to move out and for the buyers to move in? Can you get reasonable assurances that the buyers will be able to qualify for the financing they will need?
Your real estate agent can help you weigh the relative merits of each offer, so that you can accept--or counter--the best one, and line up another as an alternative.
